We have used bar code technology to provide inventories including color digital photographs of unique items; color-coded pre-printed bar code moving labels; detailed bills of lading; and real time box level tracking to assist the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Forensic Lab, Defense Logistics Agency’s Defense Supply Center, Bureau of Naval Personnel, Naval Recruiting Command, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center with their relocations.

Using our portable scanners, we can perform an inventory of all furniture and equipment.  This information can be used by your designers, space planners and relocation consultants to plan the move.

Using your move plan data and our inventory data, we can print color-coded move labels for furniture, equipment and boxes, by phase, that indicate the current user’s name, current workstation, move phase and future location. 

As each item or box is loaded on to the trucks, it can be scanned by our personnel so that a detailed bill of lading can be created that shows the truck, date and time the item was loaded.  When the items reach their destination, they can be scanned again, as they are unloaded.  When an employee is missing a desk or equipment, we can quickly determine whether the item was loaded, off-loaded and determine it’s current location.

When your move is complete, we can use our portable scanners to update the final location of each furniture and equipment item, if desired.
