System Number (to link child assets to parent assets or systems)
Descriptive Detail – as much or as little as you need:
Category (Computer Equipment, Office Equipment, Telecommunications Equipment, Vehicles)
Type (PC, Scanner, Printer, Radio, Van)
*Description (Laptop, Desktop, 2-Way, 6-Passenger)
Dimensions (Width, Depth and Height)
Manufacturer
Manufacturer  Line (Laserjet, Inkjet, Inspiron)
Manufacturer Part Number (HP1022, HP6310, E1505)
Color photographs or digitized images of each asset or category of assets – like your heritage assets or artwork.

In addition to the information above, within each category, up to seven attributes can be collected.

*If desired, we can help you link the physical inventory information to your existing auto-discovery tools to give you internal hardware, software and other Help Desk information.  Remember, your auto-discovery tools only give you information about items on the network. .
