Experience

Our founder and President, Marla Williams, has over 19 years of experience and is a recognized expert in bar code asset management software, property management, and inventories. 

Marla WilliamsShe is a Certified Personal Property Manager and is the Vice President of Certification and Training for the Federal  Center Chapter of the National Property Management Association. 

She has provided educational sessions for the National Property Management Association’s National Education Seminar, International Facility Management Association, Boston Society of Architects and NEOCON in Chicago. 

For the last three years she has served as a Judge for the GSA’s Miles Romney Award for Innovation in Personal Property Management. 

In the last five years, we have provided bar code inventory services to the U.S. Senate, Defense Intelligence Agency, U.S. Surface Transportation Board, D.C. Courts, D.C. Court Services and Offenders Supervision Agency, D.C. Parks and Recreation, Maryland State Archives, National 4H Council, AARP, The Urban Institute, World Bank, and the D.C. Randolph Sheppard Vending Program. 

We have implemented the Bar|Scan® Asset Management System and continue to provide technical support for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, U.S. Department of Agriculture- Beltsville, Federal Communications Commission,  U.S. Department of Treasury – Bureau of Public Debt, Defense Logistics Agency – Defense Support Personnel Center,  D.C. Court Services and Offenders Supervision Agency, D.C. Parks and Recreation, United Way, Society of Human Resources, The Urban Institute and ICMA Retirement Corporation.

We have provided detailed procedural documentation and federal property management consulting to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Federal Communications Commission, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture – Beltsville.

We have used bar code technology to provide inventories including color digital photographs of unique items; color-coded pre-printed bar code moving labels; detailed bills of lading; and real time box level tracking to assist the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Forensic Lab, Defense Logistics Agency’s Defense Supply Center, Bureau of Naval Personnel, Naval Recruiting Command, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center with their relocations.

In addition to bar code inventories, we have collected internal hardware and software information utilizing a variety of auto-discovery tools.
